The Night the Aliens Came

I took two nature trips this year. One of them was Stargazing. This year's Stargazing was the spookiest Stargazing I have ever been on. It was a haunted nature hike, as if it occurred on Halloween. There was a slightly gibbous Moon visible, which washed out many of the stars, and the atmosphere was humid with mists, which gave a glow when our red and white flashlights shown through them, making it look like a scene from the movie E.T. (upper left). I felt like there were aliens in the distance from the planet Nancy. I also went on the Warspur hike, featuring a lot of walking around (lower left) to an overlook in the Blue Ridge (upper right). Afterwards we gathered together for a group photo. (lower right)
