Nightlife was interesting this year. Once again I gave a constellation story on Open Mike on Sunday night, about the legend of the birds chasing a bear around the Star that Never Moves (this year (2011), find out all about that and other star legends in my workshop Stories of the Sky). Steve Greenberg once again was the MC (upper left), who greeted us with his humor between acts. Cabaret performers also included Greg Greenway, Joe Jencks, and Pat Wictor, who formed a new group called Brothers Sun (see Theme Talks). Greg Greenway led a workshop who sang an original song, "Give In" (lower left), and other people performed (lower right).
Serendipity was energized by many new dance tunes, including those of this year's sensation, Lady Gaga. We danced to the tune of her "Bad Romance" near midnight one night (upper right - click on picture for video), as well as a line dance, some tango, and some swing.
