Serendipity

Rev. Miles Sermon

After making pretty objects, dancing, hiking in the woods, drawing, and analyzing dreams, there comes more dancing late at night, at Serendipity, SUUSI's hottest spot north of Havana. We danced in pajamas. We danced to the music of the 1950s. We danced to the music of the 1960s. We danced to the music of the 1970s, the 1980s, the 1990s, and even the Ought-Ohs (the 2000s). We danced in costume: the individual winner was a spider woman, and second was myself, dressed as a magic wizard with google eyes on top. The group award went to Goldilocks (who was male) and the Three Bears. The big night was Friday, where we danced into a frenzy, danced close and slow, and danced in triples and groups until 2 in the morning. But the ending of this dance is sad in a way - it is the last activity of SUUSI outside of closing circle on Saturday, which was rained upon.
