My main nightlife experiences this year were with Serendipity and Cabaret. At Serendipity we danced to a number of songs chosen by our DJs, which include First UU Church of Richmond's Tim Stanton. Some of the songs were wild, some were oldies, and some were just plain easygoing shuffles, like Santana's Smooth (upper left - clicking the picture produces a video). Contra dancing occurred before Serendipity on two of the nights, and while I was part of the "out" couple, I videoed 9 seconds of the dancing (upper right - clicking the picture produces the 9-second video).
Cabaret featured a host of performers, including Kym Tuvim and Kiya Heartwood (bottom left) and Beaucoup Blue (bottom right). The climax was on Friday night when a large group of regular SUUSI performers played a number on the stage at about midnight.
