On the last day of SUUSI we went to the Theatre; in particular, the Lyric Theater, near the Virginia Tech campus, to watch Teens Way Off Broadway perform. This year's play was about the magic of what would happen if Harry Potter were to appear in female form at SUUSI; i.e., Harriet Potter. The result is a quiz show featuring Olympic rings (upper left), a paper airplane (upper right), red and green and a purple hat (lower left), and four dancers (lower right). I also saw a fantastic performance from Clare Zimmerman singing the Dixie Chicks' song "Not Ready to Make Nice". Now that song should be banished from SUUSI. Isn't SUUSI supposed to be an opportunity for us to make nice to each other? The show is always about something trying to ruin SUUSI, though, and once again the forces of anti-SUUSI evil failed to pervail. But don't worry. Somewhere, somehow, maybe in a different plane (paper or no), these dark forces of anti-SUUSI mayhem will try their conniving tricks again. Come to SUUSI next year and watch what happens then at Teens Way Off Broadway, the best show south of Brooklyn.
