The title of this page is ambiguous, but I mean both meanings - it is a little rapids in the river, and it is a rapids in the Little River. We started out on this hike, Falls of the Little River, with a walk down a muddy road. We then leaped into the water, even though the water was high, the current swift in the middle, and the rocks jagged. I swam out a little bit but did not want to get caught in the current, but I did set some swimming in the water (lower right). It turned out that the rapids and depth both rapidly diminished downstream.
