Once again our Wanderer left SUUSI to visit Mother Nature. He hiked until he found a sign saying "Awesome, Wahoooo! Dismal Falls" (upper left). After some more hiking he arrived at Dismal Falls (upper right). He stripped to a swimsuit and jumped in the cold pool, and walked around the place. It made for an enjoyable afternoon, especially since he encountered some more creatures, such as a lobster-like crustacean that a boy had found (mid left). After an enjoyable afternoon, he went back to SUUSI to eat and immediately got whacked by the Black Swan, who looked like he was raving mad. He threw a fire alarm at the dining hall, causing everyone to leave for 10-15 minutes on a hot afternoon. He then went back to eat. He wondered where Lady Luck's charm went.

The next day he went to a meadery, a place which makes mead, a wine made out of the honey of bees. However, the Black Swan was rampaging again. This time it was storms. When he went by van to the meadery, enormous thunderheads formed and threatened storms. But at the meadery, it was relatively quiet. He tasted some of the wine made of bees, then he hiked to find them. Sure enough, he found hives (mid right), as well as some strawberries and a snake in the building. Then he took off for a cidery (lower left). Clouds were glooming but nothing much was happening. He went inside and tasted some really delicious ciders (lower right), but the Black Swan was in the area and struck again. This time with a power outage which prevented this proprieter from handling credit cards easily. Our Wanderer yelled at the Black Swan, "You think you can ruin my SUUSI with a mere power outage? Think again! You don't need power to enjoy a glass of cider."

That didn't faze the Black Swan. Most of the way home he threw huge torrents of rain at the van as it was traveling home, once again strangling the frogs and getting the rabbits wet. Only when he got back to SUUSI did the Swan relent and yield some sunny skies. And now it was time for nightlife.
