SUUSI 2014: Beloved Community

Spare Time

Back to work

Go back to Workshops.

How dismal.

Go ahead to Nature

Our Wanderer had some spare time filled with fun. For example, coming to breakfast and being greeted with the hymn "Coffee Coffee Coffee", (upper left; clicking yields a video) in which we honor one of Unitarian Universalism's most prominent gods, namely Coffee. After he left he stayed at the dining hall (upper right) and conversed with several other SUUSIites. He walked back to his dorm, Moffett, and on the way he met a member of the canine species (lower right). He really enjoyed himself. He began to think that SUUSI was really like New York City; that is, if he could make it here at this SUUSI, he could make it at any SUUSI. When he got back, he found Common Ground, the local SUUSI coffeehouse (where you get that coffee coffee coffee) and lo and behold, there was a picture of New York City! Except it was a puzzle. He and a bunch of others tried to put New York City back together again, but he found the buildings and local scenery much easier than the Hudson River or the sky. "Oh well", he thought. "Eventually it will come together."

But there was still the Silver Chalice. Could it be in the woods? He went to Dismal Falls to find out...
