One Two! Boom, sparkle! Despite the storm
Rockets soared above the dorm
He ran straight down the Musey Way
La Bamb' would come this very day.

He wanted to see if La Bamba came from outer space. After all, aliens have landed twice at SUUSI, in 1998 when a flying saucer from the planet Nancy landed, and in 2009, when aliens invaded the Serendipity dance floor on Tuesday night causing the place to explode. So he went to the planetarium, and saw how asteroids strike the Earth every once in a while. Did La Bamba come from one of those asteroids? He learned the constellations and told their stories to some people and asked them to write their own traditions, resulting in the Big Dipper turning into a guitar (lower left). He then saw where it said "gimble in the Muse". So he went to the Muse a few nights and saw some dancing, but no La Bamba, although he did have fun dancing those nights.

He went out on Wednesday night, and saw a threatening thunderstorm just beyond the Muse. He turned around and found fireworks! This is the first time that SUUSI has ever had fireworks at it. These must be the fire doves the poem spoke about. He felt he was now hot on the trail of La Bamba. The rockets soared into the sky and went pop, exploding into an infinite number of stars (lower right). Would La Bamba go up in the air and burst? He turned around and found the storm went away, with only a few sprinkles. He saw a dark form come out from the trees at Moffett Quad. It was the white rabbit! He said, "Over there! Over there! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba! Go to the Muse", and pointed to that looming tower. "Is this it?", thought our Wanderer. "Is this where La Bamba is?" The road before him went straight to the Muse. This must be the Musey Way. He had the feeling he would see La Bamba tonight, at the clock tower at the corner of the campus. So he went down the Way, and found...
