Beware La Bamba, oh my son!
The hands that grab, the lines that wind
The drums that throb, the special boy,
The dreams of long ago.

The SUUSI Wanderer wondered what there was to beware of La Bamba. He thought grabbing others to go into dancing lines was fun, so he wanted to find La Bamba. He looked all over for it. He went to a drumming class (upper left), to see if La Bamba could be drummed. It can't. He met a fellow wanderer, David Roth (lower right) who plays the guitar and sings. He had us all sing about a special boy with leukemia in Michigan. But he hadn't seen La Bamba. He went outside (lower left) to see if any tie-dye art could have La Bamba in it. To no avail. He even dredged through old SUUSIs (Bill Gupton, upper right). Although there were plenty of La Bambas in prehistoric SUUSIs, they apparently had all become extinct. It was just a bunch of old SUUSI dreams. But that's not what the white rabbit said. La Bamba Lives! He's at SUUSI! But where?
