And we start our journey, from down the road a bit to overseas. We form a banner parade (top right), go to Ingathering ceremonies, where we hear singers such as Tret Fure (bottom right). We then go to the Opening Circle (bottom left), and go on to the activities of the night.

Some of us stop at the Fountain, however (top left). There was a day long ago when we could wade in the fountain and benefit from its refreshing waters, but Radford University, in its infinite wisdom, had to put an end to it all by putting up a Gestapo fence. This inspired me at SUUSI 1999 to write a story about it, called "The Fountain". Still the fountain is relaxing to look at, while we are not doing other things at SUUSI.

But we want action. So we go on and meet Greg Greenway...
