So our Wanderer went to Ingathering. After unpacking and going to dinner, he went to the Ingathering Spot, near Heth (upper left). He went to Preston with the parade for the opening ceremonies, the first of which was the Banner Parade, featuring the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Richmond (upper right), which was about to undergo a facelift. All the SUUSI "stars" and staff performed together (lower left). They sang a lot of songs, including "Let it Be a Dance":

Let it Be a Dance We Do,
May I have this dance with you,
Through the good times and the bad times
Let it Be a Dance.

That reminded him of Serendipity. He hoped he can dance with Lady Luck. He felt Lady Luck was out there somewhere among the women of SUUSI. So if he met everybody at SUUSI, he would meet Lady Luck. So he went to the Opening Circle (lower right) and did meet everyone at SUUSI. But which woman among these was Lady Luck, he wondered. And he really wanted to meet her, because the Black Swan was already raging, sending the eating place way up the Musey Way to the Muse, and his room all the way the other way to Moffett. So afterwards, he went to Serendipity. He danced with several people but nothing seemed to come of it. Then a new song played. It was called "Get Lucky", and the lyrics were exactly the same as on the piece of paper. He asked a woman to dance, and this dance turned out to be really great. "Ah-hah", he thought. "This is Lady Luck." Now maybe the two cows will show up, or other good things happen.

So on Tuesday, he went to the theme talks.
