It was now Friday, the last full day of SUUSI. After a day of good Spanish tunes such as "Me gustas tú" by Mano Chao and good old-fashioned Stephen Foster songs including "Oh, Suzanna", the predecessor of Bananarama's "Venus", he went to the evening activities. First was Teens Way Off Broadway, which this year was on 52nd Street. Hopefully he would see the TWOB Cow. He listened to the play, which was about how great SUUSI's teens were, and with some interesting musical numbers (upper left). He looked for the Cow, and sure enough there it was (upper right). But it seemed to be shoved into a closet. The Cow deserved better treatment than that. But he thought the rest of the play was as good as usual. He watched the rest of it and then he left.

But when he left, he ran into the one woman he wanted to dance with all week long. He walked with her (and another woman) over to Serendipity, expecting a really great dance with this Lady Luck. But the luck had run out. When he got there, the Powers that Be (read: the Black Swan) had gotten there and decided to try to put a REAL band into Serendipity. He felt satisfied with the CD players that were used to pump out the music in the previous few nights. The problem is it took so long for the band to set up. After about 30 minutes, the three of them just simply left. He never got to dance with her.

He walked over to Cabaret, the first time the entire week long. There he saw Amy Carol Webb, with her class, all of whom were Born to Sing (lower left) and then some other acts, including this one with the couple in the lower right corner. He then went back to his room to prepare for closing.
