The next day our Wanderer went to his workshops as usual. At night he went to some of the nightlife. However, due to the Black Swan's doing, it was now a major hiking exercise to walk from Moffett to Porterfield to see the performers at Cabaret. So he never went to Cabaret. Instead he went to Common Ground. How lucky can he get? It was so much better this year. You can get all sorts of treats there and there were games to play, and also some performers, such as Kiya Heartwood and her group (upper left) and another group serenading us with "The Girl from Ipenema" (upper right). He went to Contra Dancing (video) (lower left), where everyone swung everyone else in the middle of a dihedral group. And then there was Serendipity. And then he went to Serendipity, hoping to find Lady Luck again.

Did he ever. He first got into the swing of things to the tune of "Man, I Feel Like a Woman". (lower right) (video) And then for the rest of the night, it was continual dancing over and over again with various women. Every woman there ( and perhaps some men too) were Lady Luck! At least three of the dances were particularly good. That makes 7 for the week. Lucky 7. So really great things must happen. He could hardly wait. What he did not know was that the Black Swan could hardly wait either. He also noted that the woman he wanted did not show up this night either.
