SUUSI 2013

Let It Be A Dance

Once again our SUUSI Wanderer wanted to go to SUUSI in 2013. He thought it was interesting because the theme was "Let it Be a Dance". After walking and at times dancing along the way, he entered a woods, and he found a note mounted on a tree. It read:

If you dance with Lady Luck, magic happens.
Things will go your way.

A piece of paper fell on the ground. He picked it up and read it. It said,

She's up all night to the sun,
I'm up all night to get some
She's up all night for good fun,
I'm up all night to get lucky

He wondered about that. Last year he found a lot of good dancing partners, including that last one that seemed to be much better than the others, only to find that...

All at once a rustle. It was the White Rabbit. He said, "Ready for some more SUUSI?"

"Yes," he said. "What do these notes mean?

"Remember that really good dance last year?", he said. "That may be Lady Luck, not the Black Swan, as we had thought last year. Look at that first note, and see what it says. It says if you want good things to happen, find Lady Luck and dance with her. "

"But how do I find Lady Luck", he replied.

The rabbit responded, "That other note gives you an idea. Go to Serendipity. See if you can find one who will dance well with you. If you do, that's Lady Luck you're dancing with! A good thing will happen shortly after."

"Will she keep the Black Swan away? Will she help me find the two cows?"

"Yes," said the Rabbit. "The Black Swan can't stand Lady Luck. He's afraid of her. Bring up Lady Luck, and the Black Swan will go away. And then the two cows will appear. That may be hard, as the Two-B Cow got so afraid of the Swan that she ran into a cave." With that, all of his body except the two ears disappeared, and the ears turned into tiny cows, then disappeared.

"Well", he said. "I need to go to SUUSI now and find me some dance partners." So he went to SUUSI and to the Ingathering...
